Description
Paulownia tomentosa is a native tree to Hungry and is known for it’s fast growth huge foliage and amazing flowers. I personally love this tree but it can be invasive in some areas. I recommend planting it in an area where it can reach it’s full potential of up to 50 feet tall. At first this tree produce huge heart shaped leaves over 1 foot wide and long. These leaves tend to get a bit smaller as it matures into a larger tree. In early spring it is covered with purple flowers afterwards the foliage will come out. Paulownia are also known for growing at a fast rate. It is not uncommon to get up to 8 feet of growth in a single season.?? Seed grown Plants sold in 4 1/2 inch pots.
