Colocasia – Brian's Botanicals

Colocasia's are also commonly known as elephant ears. This group of plants has captivated me and my breeding work for years. The large bold heart shaped foliage and the amazing pallet of different colors make this group one of my favorite outdoor foliage plants of all time. Colocasia's run in size from 1 to 2 feet tall species to monstrous 8 feet tall species with leaves you can hide behind. Colors range form solid black foliage to greens, yellows and even white to pink veins. Easy to grow in full to part sun most can grow as aquatics or as garden plants. As well as a few have shown to be very cold hardy. If your not using these in your garden your missing out on a wonderful group of plants.
