Description

Rohdea japonica is one of those amazing plants that few know about. It is a lily like plant growing around 1 to 2 feet tall with thick strap like leaves green and around 3 inches wide.? The flowers are not much to look at but afterwards it produces bright red berries. It has this tropical look from the slick shinny leaves and is as tough as nails here in zone 6 Kentucky. I actually planted some out in the woods behind our nursery. It has survived now 10 years with no care. A great plant for the boarder or in a full sun to shade garden.
