Description
Philodendron Mcdowell when I first saw this plant and heard it’s name I thought it was a species. I later found out my good friend and mentor John Banta had breed this and named it after a good friend of his. It is a Philo Gloriosum hybrid the other parent I am not sure of. It grows very similar to a Philodendron Gloriosum crawling along producing large heart shaped foliage with white veins but this hybrid has a shinny glossy finish. I suggest growing it like Philo Gloriosum in a wide shallow pot with the soil a few inches below the rim of the pot.
Plants sold in 2 to 4 inch pots.
