Description
Drimiopsis maculata is commonly called the African Hosta it is actually a succulent from Natal Africa and not a true Hosta. This plant has green leaves with purple spots. The African Hosta is heat and drought resistant but grows best in deep shade. This plant has white flowers that come from the center of the plant. The large bulbs can from bases at the bottom of the plants and it is an interesting addition to any collection.
