Description
Colocasia Phantom PPAF this dark haunting plant that has been trialed for a few years and I am happy to finally have it available. It has always drawn peoples eyes to it in the trials. The dark foliage is unique especially depending on how the light hits the leaves. The leaves are dark black but can often have a gray tone to them as each one feels like a piece of black felt. It is very hard to get a photograph of the texture to the leaves but I found that in low light with a flash the felt like leaf reflects and shows off it’s unique texture. Plants grow 4 to 5 feet tall with rippled foliage. Leaves grow 2 to 3 feet long and wide. Stems are dark black. Grows well in full sun or part shade. We have also grown it in our ponds as a bog plant.
