I have to say I was totally amazed to by this plant. For over the last 100 years only a few variegated Cannas have been introduced to the market. Even fewer have what I would consider a pattern or streak variegation. This striped marking is very difficult and unusual to find in cannas. I can only think of a few Cannas like Pretoria, African Sunset, Pink Sunburst or Stripped Beauty that have this amazing variegation. Now that has changed Canna Red Tiger PPAF is a medium to dwarf Canna growing 3 to 4 feet tall.? The streaked foliage is similar to that of Bengal Tiger (Pretoria) but with nice red flowers for contrast. This is a must have for any Canna collector or anyone who likes a plant that is over the top showy. Should do great in any garden as well as a container grower.
