Description
Ananas comosus ‘Mini Me Sol’ — Mini Pineapple
Ananas comosus ‘Mini Me Sol’ is a compact ornamental pineapple prized for its small size, tropical foliage, and decorative fruit. This dwarf selection forms a tight rosette of narrow, arching green leaves that create a neat, symmetrical plant well suited for containers and indoor growing.
As the plant matures, it produces a short central flower stalk that develops into a small ornamental pineapple fruit. The miniature fruit is typically bright yellow to golden when mature and is topped with a tufted crown of leaves, giving the plant a classic pineapple appearance on a much smaller scale.
Because of its compact growth habit, ‘Mini Me Sol’ is an excellent choice for houseplants, patio containers, or tropical-themed plantings. Plants prefer warm temperatures, bright light, and well-draining soil. With proper care, they can become a charming conversation piece and add a touch of the tropics to any collection.
