What a beautiful week we’re having!
The highs are in the mid-80s and the lows are in the upper 60s—can it just stay like this all year long? With temperatures like these, the garden calls for a long evening stroll.

Here on the farm, that means lightning bugs dancing among the cannas while frogs sing their songs to each other. (Okay, maybe I’ve watched one too many Disney princess movies!)

But truly, a cool evening walk through the garden as the sun sets is hard to beat. I just have to get Brian to take in the beauty without rattling off a to-do list.

We’ve really enjoyed everyone who came out to the nursery to see the waterlilies this week. Honestly, we couldn’t figure out why everyone was suddenly so excited about pond plants—until my mom reminded me that I had mentioned them in this week’s email. (Hi, Mom! She says she reads every one.)

We love seeing what everyone is working on.

Happy growing!
