This flower is crazy unique. It looks like something that would be found on a ship inhabited by aliens. Its dark maroon flowers is unworldly and the fragrance is quite pungent. Konjac is lovingly refereed to as the corpus plant because of its fragrance. This “fragrance” helps attract many insects to pollinate it’s larger than life flower.
This flower will stop people in their tracks! Every time one blooms at the nursery, it is all anyone can talk about for weeks! It’s such an oddity that you can’t help but take a selfie with such a stinky fellow.

Houston texas full sun?
Full to part shade. I have grown them in full sun in KY. But with out the humidity I dont think it could handle it.
