Xanthosoma violaceum a large growing aroid commonly considered and
elephant ear. Found native in parts of South America is is commonly used
as a food source. The leaves are dark green and large with dark purple
petioles. Mature plants can reach over 8 to 10 feet tall. Expect 4 to 6
feet in more northern areas. Fast and easy a great tropical plant with
great petiole contrast. Plants sold in 3 to 4 inch pots. |
