Typhonium roxburghii
Typhonium roxburghii is a small growing aroid
with hastate green leaves 2 to 3 inches long and wide. The flower is
quite large for this plant around 6 inches tall and a dark red to maroon
color. The smell is very odd. I would compare it to a novelty fart
spray I once bought years ago. The similarity was amazing. Plants grow
in clump but will eventually make a large cluster from small tubers. It
is also quite hardy over wintering in zone 6 if partially protected.
