Philodendron Sucres Slim
Philodendron "Sucre’s Slim” is a small odd philodendron. It is still unclear exactly what it is. The plant first came to me by renowned plant collector John Banta. His plant originated out of Brazil by a man named Dimitri
Sucre in Rio in 1989. One botanist said he had seen a new species out of Brazil and that this maybe this new species. The plant grows to 6 to 9 inches tall with very thin slender leaves. It is a slow climber and can form small looking stems/trunks when not climbing. It is a great plant for terrariums, miniature gardens or as an odd house plant. Philodendron "Sucre’s Slim” is still rarely offered. I have limited stock each season of the plant.
