Steudnera colocaiaefolia
Steudnera colocaiaefolia is a great plant but rarely grown or even found in botanical gardens. Growing 1 to 2 feet tall this Colocasia look alike has green round heart shaped leaves usually 1 leaf per tuber. The flowers are quite different usually one plant can have several blooms the spath is yellow with a red interior and a small yellow spadix. A rarely offered species for the aroid collector.
The plants were from collected material and have been propagated from cuttings.
