Hoffmannia ghiesbreghtii a very odd plant with dark velvet reflective leaves. Each leaf has a brown to black coloration with small ripples. The petioles are square and it reminds and the flowers are small and pink held under the foliage. Plants can stay small if trimmed making it a great plant for terrariums or if allowed to get large leaves can get 8 inches long and the plant can grow up to 3 feet tall or more. A very odd and not often seen plant in gardens or collections.
