Curcuma Scarlet Fever
Curcuma Scarlet Fever is one of the most dramatic Curcuma hybrids I have
seen. The plant grows to 2 to 4 feet tall with large green spear shaped leaves. The
main attraction is the bright red stems and red mid-vein down the leaves. The
flowers are very beautiful as well growing 8 inches to 1 foot tall and
looking like a tropical Popsicle of flowers pink to purple on top and green underneath. It will usually flower in spring before or as the new foliage is emerging. |
