Opuntia humifusa
Opuntia humifusa is a small low growing pad cactus. It forms a beautiful
display in spring when it flowers hundreds of bright yellow flowers
with orange to red centers. It has lots of thorns and micro-thorns so
be-careful weeding around it. Plants usually grow 4 to 8 inches high and
from mats several feet round. A very hardy plant to zone 5 maybe lower. Sold as 2 pad cuttings. |
