Colocasia Bikini-tini™ VS Colocasia Big Dipper

Aug 22nd, 2011

Colocasia Bikini-tini is a epic grower with thick leaves and sturdy steams. This Colocasia could hold a drink big enough to quench any thirst. This colocasia has survived harsh winters here in its Old Kentucky Home for the past 3 years!

You may ask yourselves how is Colocasia Bikini-tini different from Colocasia Big Dipper? While I am glad you asked! While both have the striking cupped up leaves Bikini-tini has shown itself to be the winner of the two in every way. Bikini-tini's stem/ petioles are larger and thicker than Big Dipper. When it comes to leaves Bikini-tini has larger leaves that are more dramatically cupped, which shows off the veins on the underside of the leaf. Bikini-tini has consistently out grown Big Dipper reaching 7 feet tall on a normal bases. With flowers twice the size of Big Dipper and significantly larger bulbs Bikini-tini is the top choice hands down!
